Shalom Counselling Services Waterloo (SCSW) has been providing counselling services in Waterloo Region and beyond since 1983.

Shalom is a Hebrew word meaning peace, wholeness and well-being. Shalom Counselling's mission:

Shalom Counsellors:

  • have Masters or Doctoral level counselling degrees and clinical training

  • are accredited with a professional counselling credentialing body

    • College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
      (OCSW & SSW)
    • American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT)
    • American Association of Pastoral Counsellors (AAPC)

  • are Christian professionals, who respect the beliefs and background of each client, yet are uniquely able to assist those who desire a faith dimension to their counselling
